Before Starting The Market Vendor Information Sheet, Please Read The Following Information:

PARTICIPATING MARKET VENDOR INFORMATION SHEET

Event Dates: August 28 – September 2, 2024 (a six (6) day event)

Location: Clocktower Meadow, Promenade, Howard St. Bridge, Pavilion, Carrousel/Ice Ribbon Meadows, and Sculpture Garden in Riverfront Park, Spokane, WA.

Times of Operation: Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday, August 30, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM, Sunday, Sept 1, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM and Monday, Sept 2, 2024, 11 AM to 10 PM. Food Vendors must be open all hours.

What Can You Sell: Preferred market vendors are local farmers, processors, artisans, merchants, and hand crafters: These vendors grow, produce, craft, distribute or create their products. Commercial, recycled/repurposed or imported items are allowed to be sold in these booths. Pig Out in the Park reserves the right to select vendors from applicant pool in order to ensure a balanced market experience.

Booth Requirements: Vendor Booths must have cover from above, sides, a mat floor. Booth sizes are no longer than 16’ across the front and 10’ deep, with a small work area behind. No stakes may be driven into the ground. Booths over 16’ will pay an additional $75/per foot booth fee.

Multiple Booths With One Owner: As In the past, a vendor may purchase more than one booth. Each requested additional booth will be review by the organizer and approved only after certain Health District/Event Participation/City of Spokane requirements are met.

Electrical Power/Water Requirements: Your cost for electrical service and electricity will be $75 for all six (6) days. Water cannot be supplied to individual booths. Please keep this in mind for your set up and operation.

Refuse Fee: Your cost for refuse will be $25 for all six (6) days.

Spokane County Health District Requirements: Participants must follow all Spokane County Health District requirements and regulations.

Fire Department Requirements: With this email you will receive information from the Spokane Fire Department, please read carefully.

Booth Floor Plan: All vendors will provide the event organizer a drawn floor plan and complete description of the vendor’s booth for approval by the Spokane Fire Department (see attached). Changes in the booth layout cannot be made from this approved floor plan without approval from the event organizer and Fire Department.

Insurance: The City of Spokane requires insurance coverage for event participants that includes coverage for the associated event vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and volunteers. Without evidence of this coverage, no activity will be permitted on the grounds of RFP. Licensees, contractors, and vendors can meet the City’s insurance requirements by maintaining in force at its own expense, the following insurance coverage:

General Liability Insurance on an occurrence basis with a combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 each occurrence for Bodily Injury and Property Damage. It shall provide that the City, its agents, officers, and employees are Additional Insured but only with respect to the vendor’s services to be provided.

Workers’ Compensation Insurance in compliance with RCW 51.12.020, which requires subject employers to provide workers’ compensation coverage for all their subject workers. Refer to http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=51.12.020

Automobile Liability Insurance with a combined single limit, or the equivalent of not less than $1,000,000 each accident for Bodily Injury and Property Damage, including coverage for owned, hired or non-owned vehicles.

We must receive your liability insurance certificates (with additional insured listed) two weeks prior to the event for you to participate.

Your Cost: Your 2024 booth fee is $700. Booth Fee is due with signed application. Participants must also provide proof of $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance, naming: Burke Marketing, The City of Spokane and the Six Bridges Arts Association as Additionally Insured. We must receive your liability insurance certificates (with additional insured listed) two weeks prior to the event for you to participate.
